Hi Craig,

First of all, thank you for your videos. They are extremely helpful. I'm trying to reupholster our boat's seat so I will be using marine grade vinyl. Do I need to use dacron with vinyl as you suggested with fabric. Also, any pointers or helpful hints on working with vinyl would greatly be appreciated.

Boat seats typically have the vinyl directly on the foam. On some seats the foam will be covered in thin plastic with the vinyl stretched over the plastic wrapped foam.

The vinyl will stretch quite a bit so make your patterns carefully.
