I created this page just for fun and informational purposes. It includes upholstery photos of some of the more unique pieces of furniture I've built or recovered that you might like to see.
I'd also like to show you the difference between the furniture you buy now at your local store and how a good piece of furniture is built and upholstered. Of course, this is only my professional opinion. Every Upholsterer has their own style.
I hope you find this interesting and useful. I would love to hear your comments, questions, or whatever on the
upholstery photos.
If you'd like to see more, just let me know, my portfolio awaits publication on the internet.
This is a display chair I built to show how the frame is constructed, spring placement, and padding. The typical chair you buy today is made out of plywood and cardboard.
New frame I built with coil springs.
Elephant and Zebra hide
Notice the Zebra mane is down the back of the recliner.
This was fun. I actually learned from an 86 year old man, how to refabric a plane.
Cheap yard chair with a slipcover.
Before and After Pictures
Shabby Chic
This is a broken cardboard inside arm. Unforunatly this is the way most furniture is made today.
This picture of dried out foam shows what happens to foam with age. This foam could have lasted longer if it had been covered with dacron or cotton.
One of the plane interior I have done.
Some pictures of some of the new furniture I built.

The chair done in a french country style.
