Your videos are the best I have seen online!

Just wanted to let you know that I have watched your videos about reupholstering DR chairs and even the brief armchair video. After seeing the other clips online, I have to say that yours are the most practical and concise. I am very grateful you so willingly share your trade secrets with us! And your videos are NOT too long! We need the details!

I can't wait to redo my grandmother's DR chairs with your training! I sew Home Dec (Curtains, cornices, slipcovers, bedding...) and have re-covered a few cheap chairs, but have never taken on a project this size. I am just finishing the cleanup/gluing of the wood frames, and as soon as I pick a fabric and get the foam, welting and padding, I am on my way!

If I can, I will record the steps and hopefully that can be helpful to others!

My only question is what glue do you recommend for the foam? I am trying to limit exposure to chemicals and would even prefer not to use foam, but realize there are not many options. I will use cotton padding though.

THanks again for being so generous! Good luck to both of you!

Paula

Thank you much for the nice comment. I well like a fool doing the video's so a comment like that really help. Any spray contact glue will work, but 3m 90 is the best. Please post pictures and any question you have and I will help.

Thanks
Craig
